The Goggle Club selects one 3. Etage performance a month and teams up with a dramaturg for a relaxed discussion session with audience members.
It’s about chatting freely, with spectators of all ages and levels of knowledge, about audience impressions, approaches, criticisms and perceptions.
There is no linear thread to the sessions; each discussion can be attended in isolation.

World premiere

Tarrytown, New York, 1820. Unusual things are said to be happening at night in a small, sleepy valley of the Hudson River: voices, apparitions, ghosts and worst of all: the spirit of a Hessian mercenary decapitated in the Revolutionary War, a headless horseman! Ichabod Crane, the new schoolmaster who just arrived in town, does not believe in the supernatural, but instead in science and reason, and attempts to get to the bottom of this legend…

House author Philipp Löhle‘s latest production for the Staatstheater explores a short story by Washington Irving, one of the most famous tales in the American literary canon. Comedy specialist Christian Brey crafts a terrifying – and very funny – horror tableau for his seventh work in Nuremberg.

Donaukurier
