It will take an exotic, erotic and risqué film to save producer Makintosh from bankruptcy. His daughter Marylou takes matters into her own hands and discovers that the Grand Hotel in southern France has not only the perfect story, but the stars as well: The exiled infanta Isabella, the supercilious Prince Andreas Stefan and the clumsy temporary waiter Albert are the main characters in a plot written by life itself. After this jazz operetta could only be given a limited showing due to the coronavirus pandemic in 2020, it is returning to the stage with all manner of hits, dance numbers and, of course, a “happy, happy, happy, happy end”.
