Der ukrainische Tenor Mykhailo Kushlyk studierte zunächst Chorleitung an der Musikhochschule Ternopil und anschließend Gesang an der Nationalen Musikakademie Lviv, wo er 2020 seinen Masterabschluss machte. Ab August 2019 nahm er an der Opern-Akademie der Nationaloper Warschau teil, einem Programm für junge Sänger*innen. Zudem absolvierte er Meisterkurse u.a. bei Olga Pasichnyk, Isabella Klosińska, Mariusz Kwieczen, Eleonora Pachetti, Artur Ruczynski, Lech Naperala, Maciej Pikulski, Hedwig Fassbender, Katelan Tran Terrell und Michal Biel. Mykhailo Kushlyk tritt als Konzertsänger in der Ukraine, in Deutschland und Polen auf, u.a. sang er das Tenorsolo in Mozarts Requiem in der Lviv Philharmonie oder die Tenorpartie in Orffs „Carmina burana“ in Görlitz, er gastierte in Warschau und Poznan. Mykhailo Kushlyk Gewann 2021 den zweiten Preis des Solomiya Krushelnytska Vocal Wettbewerbs in Lviv.
