Joke Visser

After ten years as a freelance designer for, among others, the Dutch National Ballet, the Nederlands Dans Theatre and the Dutch Opera Foundation, Joke Visser officially joined the Nederlands Dans Theatre (NDT) in 1987. In 1989 she was appointed head of the costume department of the NDT. Joke Visser collaborated with the renowened choreographer Jiří Kylián for many productions, among others, designing and making the costumes for almost all of his dance productions. Likewise, she has been involved in numerous ballet evenings by Sol León and Paul Lightfoot as costume designer.
