Jaime Segura

Dancer

Born in Spain, Jaime Segura studied medicine at the university in Zaragoza for one year after graduating from high school before deciding on the career of a professional dancer. He completed his training at the Maria de Avila’s Dance Studio, the Professional Dance Conservatory Albacete and the Real Conservatorio Profesional de Musica e Danza Albacete, Spain. As part of his engagement at the National Theater Brno in the Czech Republic since 2016, Jaime Segura danced numerous exposed roles in dance pieces, among others by Lukas Timulak ("Hidden Order", "Masculine and Feminine"), Mario Radakowsý ("Beethoven", "Black and White"), Nacho Duato ("Gnawa"), Jiří Kylián ("Petite Mort", "Sarabande") and Johan Inger ("Walking Mad"). Since season 2020/2021 Jaime Segura is a permanent member of the Nuremberg Ballet State Theater.
