Pi­ra­ten flu­chen nicht

Captain Funny Bone has a rather interesting excuse for his bad behaviour: For 500 years, a curse has forced his family to constantly swear. Isabella, however, is not impressed by such outlandish stories. She came aboard the pirate ship St. Cecilia to free her friend Lindoro, who is being kept as a cleaning slave.

Gioachino Rossini’s "L’italiana in Algeri" provides the music for this Children’s Opera that brings the fantastical world of pirates to life in the Kammerspiele through lots of fun and irony. Land ho!
