Pepíček und Aninka brauchen Geld, um Milch zu kaufen. Vielleicht können sie auf dem Marktplatz mit ihrem Gesang ein paar Münzen verdienen? Doch gegen den grimmigen Leierkastenmann Brundibár haben sie keine Chance. Da bekommen die Geschwister unverhofft Hilfe von Hund, Katze, Spatz und vielen, vielen Nachbarskindern. Gemeinsam sind sie laut genug, um Brundibár zu übertönen.
