The things we see in the theatre! A humongous mouth! Virtual worlds! Young love! Debris! Bursts of flame! Speech, choreography and music rehearsed to perfection!

Yet what is it that makes a good theatre performance? Peter Brook said, “A person walks across a stage and another person watches.” We want to give that a shot. We’ll do away with all the bothersome accessories like a set narrative, a rehearsed plot, complicated props and costly set design. What remains is a group of actors who craft new stories and situations every evening, sometimes with audience participation, out of the full breadth of their experience and training so that they can add colour and vibrancy to the Kammerspiele stage. An unforgettable performance, spontaneous, entertaining, uproariously funny – and entirely unlike any other production in our repertoire.
