The Junge Staatsphilharmonie was founded at the initiative of Joana Mallwitz, and will be overseen by GMD Roland Böer in the 2024/25 season. Young people from the metro area who are interested in classical music can join the Junge Staatsphilharmonie. Multiple project phases throughout the season will give them deep insight into the world of orchestra and theatre. The young musicians will also be joined by numerous orchestra mentors and music instructor Irina Roosz throughout the year.
