It all began 25 years ago with a theatre educator, a youth club and all sorts of ideas for theatre education formats. 25 years later we have three offices, many freelance collaborators, a 150-piece ensemble and over 500 students who sing and play music at the opera house year-round. Together, we – the Children’s Opera Choir, the Junge Staatsphilharmonie, the Theatre Youth Club and many more – want to celebrate in the grandest way we can, with a large gala of the theatre’s most wonderful moments up on stage.
