Par­si­fal

A community is looking for its rescuer. The Knights of the Grail have considerable status but are in the depths of despair. Amfortas, their king, has been fatally wounded but death will not claim him. Meanwhile, the scheming Klingsor is awaiting his chance to destroy the Knighthood. Succour can only come from a man who is innocent of love and power and has no preconceptions of the sinister Kingdom of the Grail. Parsifal, a wandering naïf, seems to unite these attributes, being able to heal with compassion or destroy. The fate of the community is in his hands. His is the path to abstinence, enlightenment and life, not pitted against nature but aligned with it.
