Auf die Bühne, fertig, los!

The Junge Staatsphilharmonie was created on the initiative of Joana Mallwitz and continues with Mallwitz at its helm in the 2023/2024 season. General Music Director Roland Böer takes over as head of the Jugendorchester within the Staatstheater Nürnberg. Membership of the Junge Staatsphilharmonie is open to young musicians from the greater Nuremberg area who are interested in classical music. As part of a project over the course of a season they receive detailed glimpses into the workings of orchestra and theatre and year-round mentoring from music teacher Irina Roosz and a number of orchestra players.
