Tara is a successful political-asylum lawyer. She lives alone. The brief contacts she has with her mother always end in arguments, but when her mother disappears one day, Tara comes across a testimony given by her. As a member of the anti-Khomeini movement in the early 1980s, her mother had given birth to Tara in the brutal environment of a Tehran prison. What begins with a lot of humour as a light-hearted play becomes a complex attempt by mother and daughter to talk about a monstrous subject.

Press reviews
Bayerische Staatszeitung

Uwe Mitsching, Bayerische Staatszeitung
