Dramaturg
Paul Berg studied English and German language and literature at the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg. After an internship in the opera dramaturgy department of Staatstheater Mainz, he worked with the drama festival »Woche junger Schauspieler*innen« between 2019 and 2020. In 2021, he was awarded the Walter Renneisen Prize for outstanding artistic and cultural achievements. During the 2021/22 season, he was an intern and assistant at Theater und Orchester Heidelberg within the fields of dramaturgy and directing.
In the 2022/23 season, he worked as a production assistant for the Stadtdramaturgie »zwinger x« at the Theater und Orchester Heidelberg, after which he switched to the dramaturgy department, where he was employed as a dramaturgy assistant, dramaturge and part of the curatorial team of the Heidelberg Stückemarkt from 2023 to 2025.
