Die Brasilianerin Luiza Lopes erhielt ihr Ausbildung an der Escola Municipal de Bailados de São Paulo, Núcleo de Danca Nice Leite Ilara Lopes und The Royal Ballet School, London. Als Stipendiatin der English National Ballet School erhielt sie 2007 ihren Abschluss. Ihr erstes Engagement führte sie 2008 für sieben Jahre an die São Paulo Companhia de Dança, wo sie sich ein umfassendes klassisches sowie zeitgenössisches Repertoire aneignete. Seit 2015 tanzt sie für das Königlich Schwedische Nationalballett. Zu ihren wichtigsten Rollen gehören u.a. Odette/Odile („Schwanensee“), Husan („Der Nussknacker“), Alice („Alice im Wunderland“), Lilac Fairy in („Dornröschen“) von Márcia Haydée und sie wirkte in Neukreationen wie z.B. „The Grey Area“ von David Dawson mit.
