Der gebürtige Italiener begann seine Ausbildung an Ballettschulen in Bastia Umbria und in Mailand. Seinen Abschluss machte Luca Pannacci an der Scuola di Ballo del Teatro dell’Opera di Roma und wechselte danach direkt ins Ballett der Oper Rom. Auch die folgenden Jahre verbrachte er in der italienischen Hauptstadt – beim Balletto di Roma, einer der führenden zeitgenössischen Compagnien Italiens. Dort profilierte er sich auch in modernen Interpretationen der großen Ballettklassiker, darunter Itamar Serussis „Giselle“ sowie als Jago in „Othello“ oder Rothbart in „Schwanensee“, beides von Fabrizio Monteverde. Zuletzt tanzte Luca Pannacci beim Ballett der Staatsoper Hannover unter Jörg Mannes. Seit der Spielzeit 2019/20 verstärkt er die Theaterhaus-Company bei Eric Gauthier.
