Jean-Philippe Lambert’s background encompasses both science and music, as well as techniques for live performance. Since 2001, he has done research at Ircam - Centre Pompidou for various projects with the Sound Analysis and Synthesis team, the Real Time Musical Interactions team, and the Acoustic and Cognitive Spaces team. He creates lighting, music, interactions, software, and video, for performances, concerts, movies, and installations. (Pulx, The Bakery/Ballet of Difference - Richard Siegal, collectif des Esprits Solubles, Bastien Defives, Michel Véricel, Premier Acte - Sarkis Tcheumlekdjian, Roland Cahen, Sunday Machine et la démission particulière). His installations have been presented in various notable venues, such as Stift Admont, Baikado, Centre Pompidou, Scopitone, la Villette, Musée du Quai Branly, and ZKM. He has contributed to numerous international artistic events as a designer, technical director, or performer (Avignon, Berlin, Jerusalem, Kiev, Liège, Lyon, Montréal, Munich, Paris, Vilnius, Yamagushi).
