Bühnen- und Kostümbildnerin

Halina Kratochwil wurde 1972 in Zittau geboren und wuchs in Ost-Berlin auf. Von 1991 bis 1994 wurde sie an der Deutschen Staatsoper Berlin zur Herrenmaßschneiderin ausgebildet. Von 1995 bis 2000 studierte sie Bühnen- und Filmgestaltung an der Universität für angewandte Kunst Wien und an der Gerrit Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam. Seitdem arbeitet sie als freie Bühnen- und Kostümbildnerin unter anderem am Theater Augsburg, am Maxim Gorki Theater Berlin, am Staatstheater Stuttgart und am Residenztheater München. Langjährige Arbeitsbeziehungen verbinden sie mit den Regisseur*innen Marc Lippuner, Stephan Thiel und Anne Lenk. Halina Kratochwil ist außerdem Mitbegründerin der freien Theatergruppe „PortFolio.inc“.
