Born in 2005, the US-American Elliana Mannella began dancing at a very young age in local dance and ballet studios in Minnesota where she grew up. She danced in all styles including contemporary, ballet, jazz, improvisation, tap, hip-hop, ballroom, and musical theater and participated in many competitions where she won various awards. After she reached the finals of one of the most prestigious scholarship programs in the world, YAGP (Youth American Grand Prix) in 2019 she was accepted to Académie Princesse Grace in Monte Carlo where she received her professional classical and contemporary training under the direction of Luca Masala. She performed the repertoire and works from Goyo Montero, Jean-Christophe Maillot, Francesco Nappa, Marius Petipa, and Michel Rahn. In 2021, she performed with Les Ballets de Monte-Carlo in “Casse Noisette” by Jean-Christophe Maillot. She also had many opportunities as a choreographer throughout her studies including choreographing for the Académie Princesse Grace gala. In her last year of school she spent six months on a guest contract at Nuremberg Ballet Nurnberg where she was able to be a part of Goyo Monteros´s “Goldberg”, “Sacre”, and Douglas Lee´s “Petruschka”before returning to Académie Princesse Grace to graduate in 2023. From the 2023/2024 season, Elliana Mannella will be an ensemble member of Nuremberg Ballet.
