Dominique Drillot

Lighting Design, Stage / Costume

Lichtdesigner, Bühnenbildner

Dominique Drillot has developed an individual approach between stage design, lighting and installations. He designed his first set design for Jean-Christophe Maillot, with whom he has worked ever since. He has created set and lighting designs for artists such as Lucinda Childs, Ramon Oller, Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, Josette Baïz and others. To date, he has worked on over 200 pieces. From 2003 to 2023, he was a professor at the Pavillon Bosio, the Ecole Supérieure d'Arts Plastiques of the city of Monaco. The project of "Art & Scénographie" allows him to deal with various reflections and research topics around the themes of space and digital art. He has worked with the Nouveau Musée National de Monaco on international exhibitions. In November 2010, Prince Albert II of Monaco made him a Chevalier dans l'Ordre du Mérite Culturel de la Principauté (Knight in the Order of Cultural Merit of the Principality).
