Claudio Frasseto completed his studies at music conservatory São Paulo, Brasil. In São Paulo from 1985 to 1987 engaged as repetitor for Ballet Stagium and from 1987 to 1993 for Ballet de Cidade de São Paulo. Claudio Frasseto moved to Germany in 1994, working from 1994 to 2002 with Johann Kresnik at Volksbühne Berlin. As Pianist he took part in Kresnik’s productions “Macbeth”, “Gastmahl der Liebe”, “Goya”, “Don Quixote” and “Picasso” among others. With ballet director Henning Paar he worked from 2002 until 2003 at Staatstheater Braunschweig and from 2003 to 2008 again under the direction of Johann Kresnik at Opera Bonn. There he accompanied as pianist Kresnik’s dance pieces “Hannelore Kohl”, “Hans Christian Andersen” and “Ring der Nibelungen I und II”. Since season 2008/2009 Claudio Frasseto is engaged as Solorepetitor at Staatstheater Nürnberg.
