Ana Ta­va­res

The Portuguese Ana Tavares completed her classical and contemporary dance training at the Art and Dance Conservatory (EDCN) in Lisbon and at Codarts Rotterdam. In intensive courses and workshops she intensified her dance education and training in various styles such as improvisation or the movement technique of Hofesh Shechter. She gained her first stage experience during her education with performances in classical works (Petipa: "Paquita", La Esmeralda, Don Quixote", "Raymonda") as well as in choreographies by Ed Wubbe, Stephen Shropshire and Ton Simons, among others. Ana Tavares has been a company member of the Staatstheater Nürnberg Ballet since the 2020/2021 season.
