CHILDREN’S OPERA CHOIR
The Children’s Opera Choir at the Staatstheater Nürnberg is heading into its third season! Over 70 children and teenagers converge on our rehearsal stages once a week to sing and act and display their talents in operas, concerts and their own works for the stage.
JUNGE STAATSPHILHARMONIE
The Junge Staatsphilharmonie is the youth orchestra of the Staatstheater Nürnberg. Young musicians aged 14 to 19 cut their teeth on great works from the symphonic repertoire, get to know the theatre at first hand and meet up in the Staatstheater to practise for isolated periods spread over the year. On the stage, get set, go!

UKRAINIAN CHILDREN’S AND YOUTH CHOIR
Like to sing? Interested in getting to know the Staatstheater Nürnberg and meeting other like-mindeds? Regardless of whether it’s in Ukrainian, English or German, folk songs or nursery rhymes, pop, rock, jazz or classical…. Kids and teens from Nuremberg and Ukraine meet up on Mondays from 16.30 to 17.30 to sing as a group.
SINGIN
Singing makes people happy. And the more options and opportunities there are to meet up and sing as a group in our city, the more people will discover the musical side of their vocal chords. “singIN”, Nuremberg’s “sing-initiative”, aims to bring people together and let them share their love of singing as a unit.
VOICES OF THE FUTURE

“Voices of the Future” will show how much music and creativity approximately 400 primary schoolers can tap into as they all sing about diversity. With workshops, creative days at the Opernhaus and training for teachers, we and the Nürnberg Musikschule want to impart a long-lasting love for singing to primary schoolers in an accessible way.

The “jungeChor nürnberg” is turning 20 years old. Our musical revue includes young singers between 5 and 20 years of age as well as many other ensembles from the Nürnberger Musikschule. Like every year, over 250 students perform on stage at the opera house and celebrate music.
