While researching local history, house author Philipp Löhle came across the Franconian band "Orbit", which was formed in the 1970s and existed until the mid-1980s. The history of this less-successful and yet completely, unjustly forgotten musical formation took place mainly in rehearsal cellars in and around Nuremberg. Here they wrote a little piece of music history in their very own way, with songs that are rousing and way ahead of their time. The research project follows the traces of the band and its seemingly bizarre history. In doing so, it not only roams through the personal biographies of the musicians, but also through two decades of unsettled history of the Federal Republic, which is reflected in the music of the local artists, and brings to life a time in which live music stands for the attitude to life of an entire generation. A piece of show based on a true incident, with a live band of ensemble members and directed by comedy specialist Christian Brey.

Press reviews
